Hi! I'm Katie.
For many people, particularly over the age of 40, strength training has never been on the agenda.
We were never taught it, it was mainly associated with body building, and it certainly wasn't encouraged for women. Those days have gone!
Your muscle mass is your primary defence against health decline as you age.
Stronger today...for a better tomorrow.

My mission is very simple. To enable you to regain strength, lose fat, and build confidence so everyday tasks feel easier again and life has more energy!
You may find yourself here for many reasons, but one thing is for certain; something needs to change, and you need help to get there.
If that resonates with you, then we're on the right path already.
My coaching provides clear direction & support to make getting fit simple, achievable and sustainable.

We'll focus on a programme that works around you and your goals. This could include:
Most importantly, your training will have the necessary structure & progression for measurable adaptation and recovery.

We'll start by nailing down your goals, and make a plan to get there. We'll work together for a block of time, with planned metrics, nutrition support, check-ins, and a review at the end. Coaching can be in-person or online (experience required).

Muscle is not optional for longevity. It's critical. Let's focus on embracing what your body is capable of, and not just a number on the scales. It's not about "getting bulky". It's about eating well, building, and protecting your health.

Sport has always been my go-to for my physical & mental health. I've competed in a mix of recreational and elite-amateur competitions, including marathons, GB age-group triathlon, weight lifting and, most recently, Hyrox.
I'm based at The Albury Gym. It's in a beautiful countryside setting with a welcoming & boutique-feel to it.
It's privately owned, and not like your big corporate spaces.
With a core focus on resistance machines and functional workout space, this is a unique and cosy venue that has a more personal touch. It's a great option if you feel anxious or nervous about starting a new workout routine.
If you have your own home gym then I can come to you. I have a wide range of appointment times available during the week, and I can create a programme to suit the equipment you have.
I can also suggest additions to your equipment set up that could help you meet your goals if you are looking to invest in more.
If you are an experienced gym go-er looking to get back into training or start a new strength training programme then we can work together online. This will work for you if you already know safe and effective movement techniques. I use the TrueCoach app for programming and online check-ins.
